ABOUT STEM
STEM is an enrichment class for motivated students that excel and are interested in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. This program gives these students an opportunity to apply the principles learned in math and science classes to real world applications and the kinds of careers that use them.
In STEM, students are presented with real-world problem solving challenges and develop, create, and test a solution for the challenge.
Additionally, students learn some amazing skills and use the latest technology to see their solutions realized.

STEWARTS CREEK MIDDLE SCHOOL
WELCOME!
It's time to kick off a new year and I'm excited to continue with our returning students and get to know our new STEM students. I've spent the break creating some all new STEM challenges that I can't wait for our students to experience.
SUPPORT SCM STEM
We burn through a lot of materials through the semester and can always use a hand replenishing those. Any support is greatly appreciated. If you'd like to help out, click on the Amazon wish list button to see how you can help.

ROBOTICS PROGRAM
One of the perks of being a part of SCM STEM is the opportunity to join the SC Robotics team.
The Stewarts Creek Robotics Team is comprised completely of SCM STEM students and competes against other middle schools as well as high schools. In the fall, our team competes in the Music City BEST Robotics challenge hosted at Lipscomb University. In this student-led competition, students design and build a robot to solve a different problem each year.
Additionally, the SC Robotics team has competed in MATE, an underwater robotics challenge, and Robot Done League where we've taken our robot to the air.
